An RAF Dakota is illuminated by anti-aircraft spot lights during Operation Tonga, the British Airborne operation on D-Day, June 6, 1944.
The artwork is a combination of 3d model built using the actual aircraft depicted for reference and digital painting. The entire project took some 6 months to complete.
